Well what the hell, others are posting sorta modern cars. This is my new DD, bought it a couple of weeks ago after the motor on my current DD started to chew up the cam.
I added the tint and rims right away.

Not even close. It's a 1975 Holden Torana L34 replica. 308 V8 M21 4 speed with an R31 diff. These cars came out with the 308 engine and M21 4 speed. The R31 diff has been an add on from a Nissan Skyline which also gives it 4 wheel disc brakes.

It's a highly desirable Australian car. Perhaps the most popular car these days from the 70's. A replica like this is worth about the same amount as a good quality steel bumper Corvette here. An original L34 are upwards of 120K. These cars are also made in a 2 door coupe which we call a hatchback. However they were made in the later model which was known as the LX SS. These cars have climbed in value drastically here over the last few years bringing anywhere from 60-100K. The most expensive model of the LX is the LX A9X Hatchback. Very few were made and they go for about 250K these days.

Torana in aboriginal means to fly.

Nice Torrie! A flared LH/LX is very high on my want list.

Got the new engine finished in my ratty old F250. Runs nice now! Done a few more wiring and hose tidyups since these pics:

Nice mate I love those trucks. It's funny how I only started calling these things trucks since I got an American car myself

I was thinking of getting one myself for a daily driver but with 3 kids it just doesn't work for us.

What are your plans for it mate?

Thanks mate! It's just a good old work truck, I've had it for about 6.5 years now. Tows my wife's horses and my cars around, picks up fencing timber, and is my daily driver most of the time (hence being on straight lpg, no way I could afford to feed it on petrol). We cut out a lot of rust, welded in fresh steel and gave it a quick backyard paintjob when we bought it, though it will need a bit more body work in a couple of areas and some fresh paint soon... Looking alright though, given it virtually never gets washed, isn't garaged, does a lot of driving on dirt, and has done over 200,000km (120,000 miles for those overseas), much of it towing loads, since we bought it. It just gets whatever it needs to keep on working... And maybe a bit more. New engine is a 393 stroker Clevo with lots of good bits. Next on the list is some interior tidyups, maybe aircon. No rush though, it's still just a work truck...
