Chrome bumpers options
On my 73 I got it with black bumpers, there starting to fade and need to be redone or buy new ones. This is my problem, with how the rest of the car looks it looks good with black bumpers and not sure I want to go to a chrome set. These are old pics below, has been lowered in the front and has matte black decal over the gloss black hood section. Here are my options I'm thinking
1. Powder coat gloss black or another color
2. Re chrome/black chrome
3. Buy new chrome set
Two and 3 are the most expensive option, now the kicker I bought a nom 72 a few months back and both bumpers are painted black. 72 is getting a ls1 swap as well, both started as l82 as well which is also interesting. Basically going to be the opposite of this one blue with orange engine compartment and fuel injection

Yep he did a killer job on what he did, I was looking for a car to swap the wrecked ls camaro into and it was cheaper for what else had to be done. Using this as a reference when I due the swap myself for where everything is going etc will be a big help, the only thing I won't due is the sound system he had done. It's very professional looking but has some bugs that gets annoying on long drives.

Thats sweet. Black would be the obvious answer. I think chrome would throw it off. Maybe if it had some chrome trim or chrome sidepipes. Just chrome bumpers would look like an afterthought.

Paint 'em black but use the same sheen of black as on the spokes of your wheels. That way, all will match.
Powder coating will last the longest..especially in that environment (outside, near exhaust outlets).
