2022 C3 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
Default My first Corvette! A few photos

Here is my Orange Flame 1976 C3, L48, air, power steering/brakes, TT wheel & AM/FM radio. An best of all, the T-tops don't leak! My cousin was the 3rd owner and owned it since 1988. 49,000 actual miles and documentation. I bought it after he passed away. I always wanted a Corvette ever since the 50's when I used to watch Route 66 on TV, drooling over those two guys who could own a new Vette every year and just ramble down Route 66.

Looks like its been in the garage for 40-years.

Congrats...

Perhaps there are classic car shows in your area - others are going to want to see a survivor like that.

Hi O,
Very sharp looking Corvette!
I agree with 3Js that it looks like it's really been well taken care of.
I hope it gives you lots of pleasure!
Have Fun!
Regards,
Alan

I think that for some reason most Corvettes look especially nice from the rear quarter as in the last photo you posted!
It's true for yours too!!!

Cool Car and Color. A friend owned that same exact car and we used to drive it to the clubs and valet park it back in the day.

And now comes the obligatory " check the date of your tires" post. Seriously!

Heck, I'm driving the 2003 Impala my Mom left me that had 19,000 miles on it. Up to 41,000 miles now with the original equipment Tiger Paw tires on it!

Thanks for the thought about the Corvette! I will look it up in his book of records as to when he bought the tires though!

Over ten years old replace them. Blown tires and fiberglass dont mix.
