Thanks for listening to my little story. Opening and closing the Corvette season here are "events" to me. Thanks for your attention.

Paul,
Thanks for sharing your stories with us. We had our first cool front come through Texas today so your story is timely. The spring will be here before you know it and maybe next year it will go a little better for you. Take care.

Well now the first sign of spring in 2017 is a picture of the 74 in front of the ice cream shop :- )
I'm looking forward seeing that picture, because then a new season has startet.

Paul the weather has also been bad here in DK this year. Rain, wind, and no sun.........

Regards from Denmark,
John

Paul....down here we have 300 days of Summer....65 days of Fall/Winter/Spring......

And you STILL put more miles on your car than I put on mine!

2017......Ice Cream Run! Be there or be Square!

Maybe we should start a thread, first time each poster's C3 gets in front of an ice cream shop.

Still have another week buddy, but you are correct, the time has definitely arrived. 1352 km this summer......boy 6 months sure does fly by. Next Saturday will be busy with the car in the morning, and then off to the marina to take care of the boat in the afternoon. All the best.

We just confirmed a nice foliage run on Sunday for our last hoorah. It was the choice of going to a car show by myself of a foliage ride with my fiance. What a way to end the season, our car is running better than ever, weather won't be perfect but it isn't freezing yet nor snowing.

1352 Damn, I'll have to try to get out earlier next year, although it's not up on stands yet I'll not likely get more than another quick afternoon crawl around if the weather is nice.

I like the early bumper cars but have a soft spot for the 74's. If I had a beautiful roadster like yours it would be my every day driver. Small blocks are better balanced cars. It does not get cold in my neighborhood. I would drive it till the hubcaps fell off!

I guess I am always surprised when I read the ultra-low miles guys and girls put on their Corvettes. I am in no position to own something I don't use, and I Love driving this car!

I bought it last October, 2015, but it immediately went into Corvette Mike Midwest to replace all rubber of any nature, all fluids flushed and filled, new brake pads, new Goodyear tires, and other stuff, so it spent the entire winter and part of spring there.

I took it back in April of 2016, and, so far, I have put almost 6,000 miles on it, including a 1,400 mile trip to Tulsa and back, and a 2,416 mile trip to Rocky Mountain National Park from Chicago.

Boys and Girls, drive those Corvettes! They love to be on the road!

-Ray
