I lived behind Waterford Hills growing up.......Watching the Vettes on Sunday was awesome......
Don't remember this paint scheme....but that means nothing.

Is there more to the car than a rear clip? Maybe post some of the entire car. Does not look familiar to me or any pictures and my Corvette race car also came out of MI.

Supposedly, this car came out of the Jackson, Michigan area. This half, which is all that is available to me right now, is set up for quick release from the chassis.

Wish I had the rest, for sure -- And I'm looking for it!

In the late 70`s early 80`s quite a few guys updated 68-77 racers to the 78-82 style long rear window with rubber (fiberglass) rear bumper and the Greenwood style wide front end, is that a factory piece or an after market?

It is looking aftermarket to me since the astro vents are not cut out.

I found out that the car was run by Merv Bavier in B-Prod and GT1

Merv passed just this June...

try typing "Mervin Bavier Corvette" into your browser, I found a couple of race results listing his name
