Hi 69,
There are varied opinions about what manufacturers covers to use.
I'm happy with my Al Knock covers… 71 …. vinyl.
Other folks are as happy with the other major cover producers.
Regards,
Alan

I used Al Knoch leather covers for my '69. Love them and the service was excellent.
I picked up nice used headrests as the correct molded ones can be a challenge. The replacement ones with the seams look way off.

The headrest are a snap.. you just have to use a wire wheel in a die grinder to clean all the old foam off the T bar. Once you have the bar clean you insert it into the new foam, then glue and stretch the new cover in place. Once you have the top on, then trim the bottom cover to fit and glue it.
Currently the only seat foam we'll use on an installation is the CA brand foam. They seem to have the foam down to a science now and it has the original IDF as per the factory specks.. It's the best foam on the market and I've done probably 25 installs this year alone.
As far as covers... I carry both AK and CA... I just did an install on a 69 leather set and they were CA brand... the covers fit like a glove. https://willcoxcorvette.com/catalogs...c_part_year=19
I also carry Al's 69 covers...
Vinyl covers are here: https://willcoxcorvette.com/catalogs...c_part_year=19
Leather can be found here: https://willcoxcorvette.com/catalogs...c_part_year=19
Use the current sale code on the front page of the site and you can save 15 percent off too:
Or give Tommy in sales a ring tomorrow 812-288-7103 and talk to him, he's very experienced on both covers.

Head rest covers installed.
Seat cover bottoms installed.. I didn't take a picture of the backs..

The installation is really not that hard.. CA has a video you can use when you do this.. My advice is to make sure you have a good set of hog ring pliers and not the cheapo set and to also get the pull through tool for pulling the clips through the foam.
If you have both of these and the video anyone can install their own seat covers, the only draw back is that it'll wear your hands out.
