68 Fuel Pump 6440659
I'm looking for an original fuel pump for my 68 with the 427/390 motor. Before I go too far and buy the wrong pump I was hoping a member who has a known original pump could post some pictures or send them to me at jcmsp062@aol.com. Also are the original water pumps (3856284) all about the same between Corvettes and passenger car applications. What I saw on line were all pretty similar, anything unique about a Corvette water pump? Thanks in advance. Rich

There were 2 pumps that I know of. They are very similiar. The 390 HP pump was shorter while the 3X2 Holley pump has a larger resovior.
I think the larger pump will work fine; others will chime in.
Just make sure you use the molded S hose...
