Default Does Your Dog Like To Ride In Your 'Vette?

I drive a Ford Ranger every day, and my dog loves to ride. In fact, she will stay in the truck all day if I let her. But she doesn't like to ride in my '65 Buick, not sure why, she hates it. It's a bit loud, but I have diesel trucks at work, and she likes riding in those noisy clattering things. She did ride in the 'Vette once before I took it off the road for paint, but she probably won't like the sidepipes that are going on with the new engine.
Do any of y'all have furry co-pilots?

"Duke" wants to know WHEN is this thing going to be ready to ride? He`s already picked his favorite seat....

Same as you, my DD is a King Ranch F150. I keep a dog bed in the back for my Lab. He absolutely loves the truck. He rides in the vet as well, but likes the truck a whole lot better.

EDIT: Just added the pic of my 2yr old Lab, Cody. The best pup ever.

she was invited, but she refuses so far. I'm glad she doesn't want to though.

Only dog that I know of that's been in our '78..was my son's 150# German Shepherd..Had the car in the garage, passenger side window down....and he jumped up and onto the P/S seat slick as a whistle..Not his first rodeo with cars..Didn't scratch anything...After that small episode, the car has it's windows up and perhaps a cover on it when anyone but me is around it..He rides with son Caleb everywhere and loves his huge F350 Diesel truck..ESP with the P/S window down a bit.. like reading the newspaper at 50+ mph..jim

How long did yours live? The vet was only able to guestimate the age of mine, which would now be around 11 if she was correct.

Richard in TX, I cannot remember all the great dogs we have had over our 60 years..Many dozens..
WE love them..they love us back..We feed them groom them doctor them..vet them when necessary..exercise them.take them with us whenever we can..

SO the 4 footed friends depart...as all dogs do..
Then we go out and do our best to find another canine friend and it begins again...
FIND ANOTHER chihuhua..... and quit lamenting ChiCHI(unless you backed over her, God forbid)
He/she will be the recipient of your love and care and you will again have a companion who never argues about 'who is gonna drive'..Jim..

The miniature schnauzer doesn't like the pipes too much. Then there's this thing who thinks she's a dog. Oddly enough she does like going for car rides.

Just what I want, a dog or cat, scratching my leather seats and shedding hair all over my carpet.....I don't think so. Sorry animal lovers, I have my priorities.!

I had the chihuahua about 14-15 years. The dog I have now is about half that age, healthy as a whip. But she loves trucks not cars.
