New vapor canister replacement options
So my car wreaks of fuel and has for some time so its time to reconnect and replace the canister and lines. I came across the following part on google when searching for a replacement and don't know if it will work. Has anyone used this or has another replacement that doesn't cost a fortune nor requires rebuilding the original?

Hi j,
You don't offer any info on the year of your car so it's unclear whether you need a canister with 2 or three connections.
Also, from the Walmart photo it's unclear if the canister being offered has 2 or 3 connections.
?

Alan

Rebuild your own. Easier and definately cheaper.
I did mine on my (former) 82. Disconnect the canister and lines and drop in from the bottom.
Cut out the "filter" and pour out the charcoal and replace it with filter charcoal you bought from per smart. Make a filter from the air clean element from a house AC filter.
Easy Peasy.
