Default My 1st time at the NCM

Stopped at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green on my way to Indiana yesterday, my first time there. It was awesome! Thought I should share these pics with you guys! It was really cool seeing the L88 & the ZL1

So cool. Thanks for sharing. One question though. Is the yellow line on the floor showing where there sink hole was?

Do you recall if the Riverside Gold 69 coupe was advertised as a real ZL-1?

Nice pics. I've been there also before the sink hole catastrophe. It's an awesome museum!

Oh I loved it. Well worth the $20 tour fee & the $100 I spent in the gift shop..lol but yes I believe that car is a tribute. I could be wrong but I believe the real yellow 69 ZL1 was a much lighter/brighter shade of yellow than this one. & yes the yellow line you see in the pics is the outline of where the sinkhole was. They actually had one part of it made out of see through glass showing how far down it went. I should've gotten a picture of it...it was neat to see. They actually had all of the cars that fell on display..right beside the blue devil C6 ZR1, you can make out a couple of them in the pic I posted. Kinda hard to see with me being the huge corvette fanatic I am..lol but it was cool

To add to this thread.. I was there about 2 weeks after the sink hole catastrophe. I was attending Challenger Fest 5 (Dodge Challenger meet) of all things.

I have more of the muse if your interested.
