My original foam held it;s shape, but was compressed........I trimmed and added 2" of firm foam UNDER the original foam.
Installing the new seat covers was a pain, but worth it.

If installing new foam and want more lumbar support you can reuse the old upper rear piece and install it in the lower back section. T
