I use these for my motorcycle and cars. Work perfect and have multiple ways to hook up batteries. I've never had a problem in 15+ years. Hope it helps.

I use the Plus versions. Had three, two crapped out last year, warranty not much good when figuring shipping costs. I replaced one with a 3amp Schumacher Battery Extender. Actually like it a little better (and it's cheaper) with the scrolling readout. Also read quite a few posts about the BT's overheating. Google it. Left a BT charging my corvette at my shop in town tonight though... Couldn't help but feel a little apprehensive.

I have a 2 bank battery tender I rotate between various cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc in my garage and it's probably plugged in just about everyday of the year. Have had it for close to 15 years with zero issues.

I used to leave mine hooked up all winter but had a new Sears DieHard battery go bad over the winter for the first time . Don't know for sure that it killed it but won't do it again since I never had a problem with those batteries before.

I've been using BatteryMINDer's for over 10 years now (24/7) with no problems at all. I rotate two of them among 3-4 vehicles in my garage for about a week at a time each. I started using them back then because they are specifically design to also desulfate lead acid batteries.

BatteryMINDer Model 1510: 12 Volt 1.5 Amp Charger/Maintainer/Desulfator

I also have a Battery Tender attached to my riding mower (24/7) in a separate building and have had no issues with it in close to 10 years now. It has an AGM battery that is over 10 years old now.

It also comes with a 10 year factory direct warranty.

Good luck... GUSTO

I use a battery tender junior.but not all the time..I got an accessory with mine and plug it into the cigarette lighter socket on my '78.Much simpler than fiddling with the clamps on the battery. The cigarette lighter socket must be hot with car off( my '78 is)
It is important that you have eliminated all parasitic current draws, shorts etc in your electrical system.

I have been using this on for at least 3 years 24/7 no problems yet. I don't think they make this model any more but they have a newer one.

I'm still using that one as well, been going strong for more than 6 years. The one I posted above (#8) is the new model. I bought it for my son's ZO-6 and when the car "came home" the MINDer came with it.

One other issue to consider is whether the unit you buy is suitable for outdoor use IF used outdoors..ALSO pay attention to the power source and IF you need to use an extension cord..use one of proper gauge wire for the distance to the tender from the electricity plug in..jim

This is the one I purchase. Hope it wasn't a mistake. Does anybody have an opinion on it?

I had the Deltran for a few years, then it died, so I went with this one; smaller, and works well.

I still have a wet battery I like it. I seen your post with the new one. if I ever need a new one I will get that one. mine is plugged in to a 50 foot extension cord no problems. and my garage gets real cold in the winter. when I got mine I just bought one I lucked out with my choice.

I only know what I've used with success, doesn't mean there are not other battery tending devices that are good to very good.
Best of luck with what you've chosen, it'll be fine I'm sure.

I've used a variety of Deltran Battery Tenders over the years.
Just leave them plugged in and you'll be happy

Been using chargers since Lassie was a pup. Thru trial and error and school of hard knocks, I now use only Battery Minder Plus. It is an awesome, no problem maintainer for any type of battery that I've come across.
