Hi jr,
So far it looks like a NICE car.
Is that the original color combination?
Regards,
Alan

Alan it is the original colors one owner and recent body off. My friend went to look at it for a friend and he wound up buying it cause he said it was that nice. When he sends better pics I will post them.

That is the original color combo for my 70 convertible but someone painted it red and converted the interior to black. I will convert it back to original combo one day.

After seeing the New Jersey inspection sticker on the windshield, I think I might know that car.
A shop I deal, with just finished painting and putting a Steel Cities over red 72 back together, a couple months ago. The car belonged to a guy from Long Beach Island NJ, who planned on selling it as soon as he got it back.
The shop actually had two 72 Steel Cities cars in the shop, at the same time. The second one belonged to the shop owner, and he was restoring it to flip also, but his was a black interior, 4 speed car.
If it is the same car, your friend got a beautiful, freshly done 72!
