Default Original 15" aluminum rims...same look but 17-18"?

Im trying to keep the outter image of the car identical to how I remember it 20 years ago, and love the factory 15" aluminum rims.

However, tire options are horrible, especially with 400+ hp.
For performance reasons, ive been looking for 17-18" rim and matching upgraded tires. However, ive yet to see a similar looking oem rim in a larger size than 15"

Anyone know if these exist?

I have yet to see an off the shelf wheel that's even close. There were pictures floating around years back of wheels that someone had made to look like the originals. Other than 17" or 18" Rally Wheels you would have to have them made. A company called EVOD Industries can make anything you want but all that custom machining comes with a steep price.

IIRC EVOD wanted @$7,500 at the time.

Yikes! Awfully steep. Was hoping to be into a set for under $2k haha
OEM set on BFGs are looking better and better - traction however, not so much.

Surprised nobody has made a more affordable set - id think for sure there would be decent interest from the c3 crowd

Knew I'd seen something around somewhere, Go to Ecklers Corvette, here's the link:

I haven't investigated if there still available but I'm assuming they'd make them to order?

cheers

Matt

American Racing Wheels, VN327 RALLY Polished in everything from 17 X 7 through 18 X 12.
Best looking I've seen. Check American Racing Wheels on-line.

Just looked at the site - seems like a lot of nice options for low cost.
American racing VF503 are remarkably similar.
Closest to OEM style in these 17"+ rim sizes ive seen. Same amount of cutouts (8) just slightly larger than the OEM ones.
Full set of 17x8 for under $650!
Think We may have found the answer!
Thank you SO MUCH!!!!!!

Not the right color but comes aluminum, and similar enough to get the look im after in a 17-18" rim to accommodate more modern, stickier rubber.

I ordered these from Ecklers. I paid about $800 with my discount. 9 inch wide. I needed 17 inches to clear the vette brakes suspension. We still had to grind the calipers. I wanted 18 s but they were about $2000 because they would of been custom drilled. I would like the tire closer to the fender lip. I might add 18 inch wheels later. I really like the torque thrust.
