Default Towing a 82

Hello, all. Don't need to tow my 82 yet, but eventually will have to. I wanna put my car on a flatbed, but in order to get up there it needs to be towed/winched on (no it will not drive onto the flatbed). Does the 82 come with tow hook points? If not, where can I buy/install hooks? Thanks

Flatbed company should have appropriate hooks for attaching to the frame of the car.

if not, find another tow company.

To add, watch the cable on the air dam or bumper as is being winched on. You may need to raise the car with wood under the tires or winch cable may need to be retrained by a shackle at the edge of the ramp.

Yea so the question is where to hook on so it’s not hitting the air dam?

I needed a flatbed about 3 years ago when my module went out. I'm not sure where he hooked up but I can tell you this...
Hagerty brought a truck that seemed to stretch out at least 50 feet. A nice long incline.
The cable never came close to hitting the spoiler. And he used straps for hold downs....no chains.
Hagerty guarantees that their operators know their stuff...

You more than likely will hit the rubber spoiler in the front and try to keep that in the middle on the bump-skid center piece and possibly the air-dam diverter, but it should only be minimal. I have had mine on the back of a flat bed several times for various reasons (mostly flat tires) with no issues. It does help if you have some sort of (wood ramp) or something if it's a steep incline onto the bed.
