Default real world value of an c3 anniversary vette?

Hi. A friend of mine has a 60,000 mile anniversary c3 in good shape.Normal seat bolster wear on driver side still prevalent in the new Vettes (at least up to c6's anyway)!! lol. Two tone silver/gray etc.Automatic. What's the real world value on that?8-10 g's or somewhere in there? Thanks.

So much depends on overall condition of the '78 SA.
A few questions for starters..

Tires, brakes, battery, lights, gauges, heater, blower, A/C..
trans, engine-carb..hoses, belts, oil-fluids, cooling system..
engine the L48 or L82?Manual or automatic, Gymkhana Suspension?

Does it have the provenance such as owner's manual, build sheet with options listed?
Body/paint, pinstriping, emblems condition?
What has been maintained, Upgraded properly,..what works,?
I paid 5K.for mine a couple of years ago and went thru virtually everything including interior, paint and now it's pristine w/59K original miles..I have close to 18K in mine..The body/paint work being the most expensive single part of the restoration..Jim

SAs were popular to the tune of about 15000 of them. Difficult to place a value on your friend's car without pics.

I just purchased mine on New Years Eve. Paid $18,600 for it. It's an L82 4 spd with oyster interior. It is fully loaded, 77,000 miles and all original with exception of a new high quality re-paint. I specifically wanted a Pace Car or Silver Anniversary car L82 4 spd. In my search I saw L48 Autos for as little as 12k and L82 4 spds as high as 25k.
I felt like I got a decent, though not smokin, deal based on what I looked at.

Photos of your friends car would help.

Nice looking L82!..Great Smokey Mountain backdrop very nice..I love that country too..I'm happy with the L48(w/headers, no cats.duls)& the THM 350 auto trans..At my age, working the clutch and gear shift..is no longer for me!Jim

Well, now that I have more details..lol. It's an 82 silver/gray. Automatic.60,000 miles.New or newer tires and an aftermarket radio. He keeps telling me it's an anniversary edition but I think he may think that because it's the last year of that body style? Anyway, condition overall is good, well maintained.

It's probably two toned silver, light over dark. Complete speculation without pics and options list.
