Pretty neat! I had a friend back in the 80's that had 2 of these blocks. Not in the crate, but If we only knew then what we know now, LOL!!

Meh. I'll be terribly surprised if it ends up as anything other than somebody's overpriced paperweight, or assembled and installed into someone's garage queen/show car/dust magnet.

It was meant to go fast on a track, not be worshipped by collectors.

no mention of the date code.....not many cars this would fit into if you want the date codes to line up. and then find matching heads.. intake.. etc..

A friend of mine, who mostly deals in Ford 427 FE and SOHC stuff, found one of these about 18 years or so ago. He built a 427 and put it in a Pontiac.

I bet it was stored away with all the other top secret stuff in a huge warehouse on area 51 That's how it Looks like in the wooden crate box
