Default 1971 Birdcage Indexing Jig

Need to replace birdcage sills, windshield frame, A pillars and No 3 body mounts. I would prefer not to totally disassemble all body components from birdcage if possible. My front clip and firewall have been already removed. There's not much left in the way of fiberglass attached to my existing birdcage. The rear clip and the fiberglass covers over the sills still remain attached to the bird cage. I was looking to purchase an entire birdcage and replace from the front of the birdcage to half way up the C pillars if possible. I also removed the No. 3 fiberglass covers as well.

What is the best way to jig up the existing birdcage before cutting to assure proper alignment when reassembling?

I was thinking of leveling and anchoring a steel "I" beam frame to my concrete floor. Then I would set old birdcage onto new frame and index front, back, side, height and angle measurements off this frame.

Anyone who has done this before with any idea's would be appreciated.
