How many Yellow/Green Convertibles?
For the last several years I have been researching yellow/green Corvettes. I have a yellow/green '71 LS-5 convertible that I found with the help of a CF member. Pictures of it are on the LS-5 site here on the CF. I have yet to see or hear of another yellow/green convertible. I saw a '69 y/g 427 coupe on ebay and a '71 coupe here on CF. I am starting to think I may own the only yellow/green Corvette convertible out there. I am curious if anyone knows of any documented y/g convertibles? It was never a popular combination, but everyone that sees mine remarks, "wow, I never thought I would like it, but it is very pretty."
Thanks for help guys. The CF members truly help and look out for each other!

I know of a '70 L46/4 speed Daytona Yellow speed in Florida, but that's the only one I've ever seen. Certainly not a very common combination.

Check the LS-5 thread, there are pictures of the car, VIN stamp, and trim tag.

Ah yes, youth is certainly wasted on the wrong people.
Good looking car Stuart, have you seen many others with that color combination?

My father had purchased the Vette new from Reedman's in PA.
4sp,PB,PS,TW.
Car is still in NJ
I have been in contact with the current owner, and sent him the original sales contract, window sticker, POP, and some other items, on the condition I get first crack at purchasing it, when he is ready to sell.

Thanks for sharing. The green interior appears black at first glance, especially from a distance. Code 423 is a darker shade of green which matches up nice with the yellow. I noticed a '66 yellow/green 427 Convertible for sale in my latest Hemmings. These are very rare, as it was not a suggested color combination, it took a special order override to have one built. I am going to call the owner and see if its an original yellow/green. Many were green/green originally and repainted yellow.

Definitely an unusual color combination. I think that combo was made available especially for the Jolly Green Giant (Ho, Ho, Ho..).
Early to mid-70's was a time for "Earth" colors: Peace and Love, ya' know.

If that '66 is documented, I would think it would be a very rare bird indeed.
