Thanks CraigH... my cousin's actually doing the restoration for me, and he was so intent on making sure the grilles were perfect with perfect gaps, etc... he wouldn't let it alone until it was.
And the bumper tucking, yeah, all you can do is trust the guy when he says he wants to take the grinder to 'em... or say no... lol

Thanks RonR80... I bought the exhaust from Eckler's actually... that was way back in 2002 probably... you can check their website, and enter part# 34897. I would assume you can get it from a corvette parts dealer in Montreal probably, and he would give you the price in CAD. I would expect that shipping could be more expensive, but you could also pick up the parts in Montreal...
PM me if you would like additional information.

Hi my70,
I'm continuing to enjoy seeing what's going on and also continue to admire the attention to detail!
What a pleasure to look at your photos!!!
Are you really only the wallet, or are you doing some of the work too?
Regards,
Alan

SO.......You're the Member with the great chrome bumper rolling chassis!

(Annnnd.......THAT's what it looks like after removing the "crimp" from the front bumper and "tucking the rear bumpers!)

Thanks Alan... I'm actually only the wallet unfortunately... I do not have anywhere near the knowledge or talent to do any of this... my cousin is the one who is doing it all himself. He's a perfectionist, therefore the attention to detail. He lives about 600 miles from me, so I can't even go and see it very often. It's in good hands though...
I'll try to keep posting some photos as they come in.
Regards,
Denis

Hey doorgunner... is that the word on the street... LOL
Yeah it's me with the cool looking chrome bumper rolling chassis... my cousin actually took it to a car show like that... it got a lot of looks.
And... yeah that is what it looks like without the crimp... and the rear bumper tuck-in was my cousin's idea, so I let him do it... it should look cool.

Thanks again for the encouragement. I have only owned mine for 7 years and actually worked on it about 2. Guess that makes me a rookie (Doorgunner's favorite term.) This week when getting back to it your example encouraged me to carry on and get a move on it. Gotta long way to go myself but glad to see how yours is coming! It is worth the wait!

LOVE the body color engine compartment. Just brings it to a whole 'nother level.

Thanks Andy... it will certainly be worth it. Just keep at it (slow and steady if need be... lol)...
I'll try and post more photos as the progress continues.

Thanks RJ1AZ... it's copperhead metallic... plan is to paint the entire car that color.
