Default Finally, something for my outer fender air ducts!

I was fixing to install the aftermarket vent grills That came in the other day and remembered I had a few red Oznium LED's laying around and this is what I came up with. I wasn't too sure about the look before I wired them but didn't take too long for me to decide to keep them...It is a Resto/Mod after all!!

I'm not a fan of the ground effects lighting, but this I like...Nice touch. It would be kind of cool if they blinked along with the blinkers.

Color of the car and lighting effect makes it almost look like flames.

I'm hesitant with lighting and stuff like this on C3/Classic/Muscle type cars, with the fear of looking ricey, but I think this works.

Exactly !! I'm no fan of all the ground effects lighting also and was almost prepared to take them off if I didn't like them . It was a pleasant surprise I liked them!... Thanks

I see lots of import tuner cars back light whell wells, vents, scoops, etc for results like this, they sell kits to do it,

Who cares who else does a styling trend if you like it go for it,

Did you say you got different vents though?

Bats, I LIKE that! My boys are looking over my shoulder saying a soft blue light would look good through the egg crates onto our Steel Cities Gray.....

I have some amber COB LED's and was going to play around with them hooked in with my blinkers. Yours looks really good and I agree they almost look like flames with the color combo.

I love leds,
I like some tuner styling trends,
I love light glowing out of scoops, ducts, whatever i dont care if tuners like it and do it too....i like some tuner cars, no, dont wanna own one.

Blue might be frowned on by leo but your egg crates would look super cool with a glow....

Thanks Bats. I have the 1974 vents but I bought the after markets screen grills just to give them a Screened look instead of just a Hollow dark cavity. I still have to install them .

I dig the back lit look a lot, did that in the 80s to a buddies trans am scoop, no leds just a red lamp,
when you add the screens it will just accent it even cooler looking....

Yeah, I`m sure it would. That`s why we`re thinking of a "Soft Blue" that would look more like a blueish-white to accent the Steel Cities Gray.

Looks good, now if you could only wire them to the tach so that they glow brighter as you rev the motor!
