Default Just for fun, what cosmetic feature would you designed differently?

On my 70, the Briggs and Stratton alarm lock is kinda primitive looking as opposed to late 70 and up.

I would have left off the giant badge between the headlights

I would have "lost" the slight-green-tint on the rims.....

80-82 the buttfugly rectangle space for a front license plate, ruined the flow of that front end,
Gm could have tossed in a chessy bracket just for places that needed front tag

On the 68-82?

I wouldn't change anything GM did.

Other than end the series a little sooner.

For the '78+ glass T-tops I would have ensured that the rear edges were flush with the roof. It still surprises me that they were engineered to be about 3/16" higher.

Not a big fan of the 75-79 front bumper guards. I think the 74 looks so much cleaner without them.

Bubble tail light lenses for all years and four real tail lights for 69-82.

I like that idea so much, I changed mine, and will use an LED license plate frame for reverse lights.
Another change I like... is the top edge of the "duck tail"... where it turns up... to be just a little taller.

I understand the engineering reason why they did it, but the clean look of the 73/74 front bumper was lost with the addition of those bumper guards.

My beef: The rocker panels under the doors are too shallow. I hate looking at a C3 from the side and seeing that damn transmission crossmember hanging below the bottom edge of the rocker panel.

For my '71 Convertible:
I would have had 4 brake lights and left the backup lights where they were in '68. It's one of the mods I'm planning to do some day.
Have a between the seats waterfall like on the newer convertibles. Again, I'll do this as well.
I wish were the radio is was a little closer to the driver. It's a pain to turn up and down the radio without leaning forward a little since it's so far away.

Chrome bumper cars should had real glove boxes on the dash, and all models should have had hinged trunks.

Abso-f'n-lutly. I've been trying to figure out for the past few months how to go about getting rid of that wither by a mesh cover or fiberglassing it out on a new bumper.

Also I would have not switched to the large rear glass in the later years.

I would have kept going with the 4 gill each side theme ,at least while the chrome bumpers were there , they were SHARKS .

Who ever saw a shark with egg crates swimming around

I couldn't agree more on both . Put the gas tank down below and run flat tires.

I think I would have left the worthless clock out and installed a boost gauge

I've harped about this in a few other threads, I would cover up the late C3's *** a bit more to hide the tub and mufs.
