That would be sweet if you could get this plate, I couldn't believe it was available !
And waiting 12 weeks was agonizing, actually..
Finally street legal.
In the California sunshine.
50,000 mile survivor.
Life is good.

Yes we have been watching that and house prices.. We are both from N Ca and have lots of grand kids that we would like to be closer to. We enjoy the low cost of living here in Texas... Our 210 k house will barley buy you a shack in N ca..

If you move here, get ready to pay a lot of taxes and put up with a lot of stupid politicians.
Some people in Northern California have a movement to secede and create the State of Jefferson.
On the other hand, '75 and older Corvettes are exempt from smog checks.

1975 was the year I wanted, smog certification in California is one huge hassle.

Yes the cost is the biggest concern.. we Have 5 registered vehicles, I'm sure we will not get a shop with a house like I have here so we have lots to consider before we make the move. I do have my 73 Vette registered here but only cost a few dollars a year.

My wife and I drive from Seattle down to Napa every summer. This past August, the CA roads were so bad that a side marker lens and exhaust bezel fell off our '71. Both were original to the car.
