That would be sweet if you could get this plate, I couldn't believe it was available !

And waiting 12 weeks was agonizing, actually..

Yes we have been watching that and house prices.. We are both from N Ca and have lots of grand kids that we would like to be closer to. We enjoy the low cost of living here in Texas... Our 210 k house will barley buy you a shack in N ca..

Registration is 65.00 for 5 years here for antique plates

If you move here, get ready to pay a lot of taxes and put up with a lot of stupid politicians.

Some people in Northern California have a movement to secede and create the State of Jefferson.
On the other hand, '75 and older Corvettes are exempt from smog checks.

I don't think its possible to secede where others failed.

1975 was the year I wanted, smog certification in California is one huge hassle.

I got mine way back when we were waiting for enough orders.

Not to get political but what happened to voting on tax increases?

My Corvette is $350 a year to register so now it will be $450 plus 12 cents more a gallon on top of the 8 cent cap and trade crap.

Back on topic.

Yes the cost is the biggest concern.. we Have 5 registered vehicles, I'm sure we will not get a shop with a house like I have here so we have lots to consider before we make the move. I do have my 73 Vette registered here but only cost a few dollars a year.

My wife and I drive from Seattle down to Napa every summer. This past August, the CA roads were so bad that a side marker lens and exhaust bezel fell off our '71. Both were original to the car.
