Default Heater/AC air diverter door in 73

Where is and how do you access the air diverter door in a AC equipped stock 1973? It is the one controlled by a cable connected to the temperature wheel. I can't seem to clearly see it in the AIM. Pics would be a big help.
Thanks.

Default

You must remove the main heater box from the car, then remove the rear covers that hold the core in place. Once this is done you can then remove the temperature flapper door. I made the picture below for you just now, and while they say 77-82 the removal process is the same. If you have any questions post back again.
