Here's my '72:

It hasn't been driven in a while (gotta finish some work to get it running again), but I've driven it from SoCal up to NorCal and back, plus plenty of around-town driving.

Dang, I need to get it up and running again...

Put around 1,000 miles on the '79 since Friday.

Drove from Las Vegas to Ventura, CA.

From Ventura, I headed south on 101 to Thousand Oaks where I cut across the mountains to Malibu, CA. Part of that leg was this run on Mulholland Highway:

Took PCH all the way down to San Diego with the exception of a miserable leg on the 405. I didn't have an opportunity to take any photos of the car in San Diego.

Drove from San Diego back to Vegas this afternoon/evening and somewhere on I-15 a C4 ZR1 with an LT5 played with me and that was fun.

No mechanical issues at all. The only problem I had on the whole trip was the amp overheating when I was cranking the bass too hard.

Earplugs were a godsend.

Got a lot of use of 6th gear blasting through the desert!

All of that low end torque really shines at higher speed and lower RPMs.

Looking good, Sheldon.

My son still talks about your Duster - it is awesome. Thanks again for showing it to us last year.
