I had a onsite service do the inspection.

He too wanted two vins but could only find one. So he just did the windshield one.

No issues getting it registered.

Overall though, love the paint color. Gorgeous.

Interesting point, will ask him.

No that would be fraud. Really it shouldn't be needed but it's nice to have a second vin.

It's an old car. not like new ones were the vin is on every body panel these days.

No. It's not fraud. Fraud is CHANGING the VIN. The definition of fraud is changing something into something else and representing it as something else or something that it is not. That does not fit the definiton here. The blue VIN is a sticker and is just a sticker. It's not going to change the registration or any bill of sale info.

Samir,
The blue sticker scan be found everywhere by most vendors but you can also get them on eBay. You can type the VIN yourself or they will do it for you.

Yes I bought it 10 years ago.

Regarding the luggage rack was not a factory option, it was there when I bought it.
Many don't like it, I do, like the color.
In my mind one of the best colors in 69, together with Monaco Orange.

Can you send me the link of a vendor selling this sticker? Tried googling a bit, but the search results being returned are all over the place. Nothing specific to what we are discussing.
