Kevin glad to see you posting here. The 70 had chrome valve covers and very early 71's had them the rest of 71-72's had orange painted covers.

Hey Jerry sorry it took so long, I'm in Az. visiting family.
Mine was appraised @ $64,900 in 2014
Here is the engine stamp.
The build date was August of 1970.
My car has a 1971 passenger side grille in it .... they ran out of parts.
The 70 has studs W/nuts, and the 71 has visible screw holes in it.
Aug. was the last month of production of 1970.
