There's nothing like cruising Colorado in a Corvette.

Melting Slicks
Agree!!
I have run the Tail of the Dragon a number of times, some with Corvette club groups. 318 Curves in 11 miles, road designed by a Corvette owner for sure. Just be careful and do not cross the centerline
Beautiful Corvettes and beautiful country!

Leave the low ground and straight roads behind.
Get some altitude and attitude
Rest and be thankful
The West of Scotland is nothing but glorious mountains, hills and twisty roads.
Over here, American cars are thought of as poor handling, heavy beasts, but my Corvette is one the most fun and capable cars I've owned.
Which is why I've still got it after over 20 years.

So the wheels are sitting in your living room? Are they holding up planters? :-)

First time on the dragon. Scary when really trying to push it to say the least! Guy on a motorcycle had wrecked and was pinned against the rocks on the side of the road when I went.

Burning Brakes
A couple other mountain runs you could make is to Brevard NC and the Diamondback to Little Switzerland NC. The Brevard run from SC is about beauty and enjoying your car. The Diamondback will test you and your car. There are several 180 degree switchbacks coming down the Devils Whip to Marion NC. I thought I passed myself a couple of times.

Envious
I'm envious of you guys. East Arkansas is flat as a flitter and the roads are pretty much straight. The western part of the state has some nice drives, but I'm not there. Enjoy those views!
