Hi KV,
Thanks for the link!
The car even 'looks' fast!!
You can imagine people's excitement when they saw the 68 cars for the first time!!!
Regards,
Alan

Great video, you have a pretty strong case that the C3 corvette is the nicest looking ride out there after all these years.
Looks like Duntov is driving in some scenes

At the time the evolution from the C2 to the C3 was just as radical as the evolution from the C6 to the current C7.

So that's what 'cutting edge' technology was like in our cars 'back in the day'

Pretty cool, and the body style still looks great after nearly 50 years...

hummmmm.....that must be record right there

a BB 68 run that long not over heat or break down or chit fall off ....i guess they could have spliced the repairs out of the footage ...LOL

Not bad handling on cross ply tyres.

C3 Trivia: Duntov had a blue big block pilot line coupe in Detroit by May, 1967. This was the test bed car for the overheating issues he was attempting to resolve before the long lead press review. His changes eventually made production.

I am wondering whether the car in the video is Duntov's test mule.
