Default Where is it safe to sit on the body for a photo shoot?

My 68 is going to be used in a photo shoot with a model. The girl is maybe 115 lbs at most. Where (if anywhere) is it safe for her to sit on the body of the car without risking cracking anything? Obviously she'd be very careful getting on and off the car, and for certain shots she could be picked up and placed carefully so as not to put all the weight in one spot.
Can this be done safely?
Thanks in advance for any information provided.

I would recommend not letting anyone be on top of any part of the car....she can stand beside it.

If I were to take a guess, maybe her tushy between a headlight and the hood, right over the reenforcement bar, but with both feet on the ground. Absolutely no jewelry and minimal clothing, preferably 100% cotton. Only a guess as I have no personal experience of anyone sitting on my C3.

We need pictures of the model to give you an accurate opinion

Sitting on the roof would do no harm as long as her clothes don't have any studs or metal or anything that might scratch the paint. Assuming her clothes are ok, I'd let her sit on top the front fenders or the rear deck. As long as she doesn't jump on, your car should be fine.

I'll be glad to post some of the shots when it's done. I don't think there's much concern about clothes scratching the paint or chipping anything, but I'll be sure to be careful.

Thanks for the information, I appreciate it.

Not saying this is a good idea or every person can get away wiith on every car,

Several decades ago i went to texas chainsaw massacre in my 72 convertible,

Top off a couple of us sat on the rear deck lid, no issues, i was lighter then, im well over 200lbs now and sit on the rear, not rear deck lid and front fenders of my 69,

I doubt i would risk any tweaks like sitting on the roof that might crack the windscreen and i doubt the hood likes much on it,

I also with no offense meant if the shots are for for sales ads, be sure to get the same shots without the girly so it doesnt look too...un ahem, cheesy.

Reading some of the responses, like "rear deck lid... minimal clothing... no metal studs or jewelry"... makes me think of the most perfect example I`ve seen posted on this site...
(but then I`m partial to the Steel Cities Gray)

More good information, and really, those where the areas I was thinking of. Back deck and fenders seem like obvious targets. If I was going to have her high up on the car, I'd probably take the t-tops out and have her stand in the seat. I figured the hood was off-limits.

The shoot isn't for a sales ad, but I'm sure I'll have them take some shots of the car by itself anyway, and probably the girl by herself too.

I thought she was too light also, especially if she gets on carefully and spreads out what little weight she has.

Ha! Yeah, won't do that. It's for some editorial shoot or something, I'm definitely not selling the car.

Me too! I was going to link the model's page in modelmayhem, but it's private. If you have an account on that site, I'll give you the link.

I think the final pictures will be better though. None of the current pictures on that site have any classic vettes in them.

Place the models before the wheel wells to keep stress off the fenders. Soft clothing a must.

I need to convince my wife to do this... She has the body. Just need to get her to not be so shy. Maybe after a few... she'd open up to the idea.

This crowd sure changes their tune when it comes to a pretty girl. Some want to beat the crap out of any guy that even leans against their car at a cruise night. I would reference the thread but it got locked.
