My 1970 Coupe

L46 350/350
C60 AC
J50 Power Brakes
M20 4-Speed
N37 Tilt Steering
N40 Power Steering
PU9 White Lettered Tires
U79 AM/FM/Stereo
411 Blue Interior
976 Mulsanne Blue

Honestly if I could go back in time and order a car this is probably about what I would have ordered. Plenty of power and very enjoyable to drive on the street.

My 68 convertible

L36 427/ 390 HP
C60 AC
U79 AM-FM stereo
M20 4 speed
Manual brakes
Manual steering
992 Corvette Bronze
STD black vinyl interior

Not the way I would've done it. It has power steering now, but still has the manual brakes.

It is interesting how people ordered their 68-72's I always check options and amazing how they drove them everyday without any power options and no AC. I had a 69 with no tilt wheel horrible the steering wheel right on you lap. My 70 LS5 has ps pb pw tilt tele auto but no AC.

I think it's important to keep in mind many, or more than likely most cars, were dealer ordered, and optioned to what THEY thought would sell best.

But great thread idea, to the OP!

Had to replace my computer recently and lost all of my pics that were on the old hard drive. Need to get them loaded on the new laptop soon! Thanks for the nice comments!

My 69 Coupe

Base 350/300hp
4 Speed
Manual everything
Non Stereo Radio
Black Vinyl Interior
Monaco Orange
No options
But it has Air Conditioning… If I got to choose one that would be the option.

Rick

Edit: A/C option if I where 3rd in line, 1st or 2nd in line option would be that ZL1 Special L88 (aluminum block)

My '70 Coupe was a low option car with the L46 350/350 and AM/FM/Stereo. I added power steering during the restoration.
