Vintage air in a convertable question
Looking at the instructions from vintage air they have you removing the cowl bracing from the passenger side of the car. For you folks who have done this, have you noticed any decrease in rigidity in the car?
The car is a 1971 convertible. I would think that it would have more of a impact than on a coup.
Thanks

I would just like to know how much the brace affects the ridgidity of the structure. This issue is what keeps me from pulling the trigger on adding a aftermarket kit.

I understand the guy in TX with a convertible needing A/C...but why would you need A/C in CT???? That's why you have a convertible....right?

I guess that it's all relative. I spent 5 years in Phoenix, AZ where it hit 110*F or higher on 90 consecutive summer days.
