Default New audio upgrade option! No radio required with our new C3 Rock In a Box package!

I just finished up the prototype box that will allow all you C3 owners to upgrade your audio without even have to change the radio and cut up or replace your radio bezel!

With our new package we will place either 6x9 speakers or 6 1/2" components along with a 10" sub into a custom made box that will fit into the back of your car!!

Hows this work?

Simple!

With most of the customers these days we talk to using smartphones, we have decided to combine a combo using the new JL Audio RD amps and JL Audio BT module to allow you to simply BT music from your smartphone to the amp. This eliminates the need for any radio in the car!

With the RD amps being signal sensing it will sense once the phone is connected to the RD amp and then turn on amp.
Amp will still need to be wired with power and ground using a normal amp kit which will be supplied in our packages! Power to battery positive and normal grounding of amp.

The boxes will come preloaded with many different options for speakers and subs pending ones budget and quality of sound you would like.

Here is some pics of one I just put together to show you an idea of how it works being bench tested.

I think myself this is a great option for those wanting some music in your car but dont want to have to add the radio taking away from originality and reducing the cost of the upgrade by not having to purchase a radio!

Volume controlled via the phone
Use any Music app on your phone or stored music.
Just connect to the JL MBT in BT settings on phone

I will be making boxes in house to order based off 6x9 or 6 1/2" component request.

I am using a Focal Auditor sub and Kenwood 6x9 speakers with the RD 400/4 combo in this to show you how it works.

I will work on getting some base packages set up now on website for direct ordering for those wanting this upgrade.
Till I get them up on website

Looks Great, and can be removed anytime without leaving any marks... I like it! Will the box be made to especially fit an early C3 Coupe? Mine is 1971!

Do you have any pics of one mounted in a C3 coupe? Do you sell the box separate, and do you have different carpet options for the box?

Thanks!

Great Idea!
Will you also have an option to plug in phone or player?Personally I think Bluetooth sucks for music.

I did a upgrade to my C2 radio (internal guts replaced) and added an external BT gizmo and the music from my iPhone 5s sucked due to mostly low volume. I went back to my RCA connector and iPod and everything was fine.

Not sure if this was a BT gizmo and iPhone 5s or something else.

Will this fit a convertible? Also, do you just sell the box if I want to add my own components? Any idea how many cubic feet it is (for sub install)? Thanks.

Does this interfere with the drop down rear window shelf? Any space issues with putting the T-Tops in the back?
