Corvette bucket list.
I was wondering if anyone else on here, had sort of a corvette bucket list, weather it be, owning or riding in a certain year corvette, or attending a certain show etc. Mine would have to be, being able to drive mine again, attending Bloomington, Carlisle, and the muscle car and corvette nationals. Already marked one off, by visiting the National Corvette Mesuem, but I do plan to go back to that a few more times at least, in my life time. Are there any other must see events to put on the list? Open to suggestions. Sorry for the dumb post, bored at work today.

There is always the old "retrace route 66" in your Corvette, but large parts of route 66 are gone now. Another one would be to have the title for your Corvette, thankfully I have that one scratched off my bucket list!

Retracing route 66 was always a plan for my dad and I, sadly he passed away from cancer, before we could get it done, but I still plan to make that journey, just have to take the old lady instead. I also have the title for mine thank goodness haha.

My bucket list dream would be to have all three of my Corvettes road ready at the same time! Since 1982, that hasn't happened! Usually two of three operating and not getting some work done! Heck I just feel if I laid out all of that money buying some jack stands, I should be using them!
Ps I think a guy with a car project looks a whole lot more like a macho dude to the neighbors, with a car in the garage getting worked on!

My Corvette bucket list is quite short having only one simple item. And that is to finally drive a corvette that belongs to me. Have had my 77 since 2013 but she is still in the building process although she is finally running now. I still haven't driven it yet though, And I won't till Im done with the rear of the body.

I'd like to get another C3, a resto mod. Modern suspension, brakes, steering, A/C in a chrome bumper body.
My original C3 is a super nice driver, but I don't hammer on it. I'd like to have something to lay 100 feet of rubber and still look C3 cool.

I'd like to have my 68 running and looking good in time for the 50th anniversary bash at the NCM and Corvettes at Carlisle. My crazy goal is to have it running and driving by the Detroit Autorama at the beginning of March 2018. The owner of the company that redid my wheels wants it there for showing off his work. Time will tell.

2023 Restomod of the Year finalist
2020 C3 of the Year Winner - Modified
My wife's friend asked me the other day-"When are you going to drive it?"
I responded with-"Just about anybody can drive a car- few can work on them- and even less can modify them!"
My short bucket list-
Have my 71 make the Hotrod Power Tour this upcoming year- as it starts in Bowling Green.
Long list- the wife wants me to build a 60 restomod...I do have a couple more V12's sitting in the basement...

*Complete restoration of undercarriage, then a new exterior paint job. At that point my car will be as done as it every will be, at least by me.
By restoration of undercarragie, I mean new rubber on all steering components, delco shocks, disassemble, check all parts and paint leaf spring, check differential, new u-joints on short shafts (done the big one already) clean undercoating off of frame and recoat everything as it came off the assembly line.
Makes my wallet hurt thinking about it.
