Oh ok, so the day is Jan 16th 1969 counting from that day ? This is from 1969 Corvette Convertible Automatic Tranmission 350 ci. Is the transmission ID a partial VIN ID ? Is there a plate too not just stamped for the transmission identification such as build location etc that I read from other cars transmission information ? Thank you.

If 1968 is a leap year, so there are 366 days in the year. Was this taken into account ? If V0116HZ is on my engine small block with 116 representing Jan 16 then there are 381 days BETWEEN Jan1st 1968 and Jan16th 1969, not 380 days as I have shown CK-69-3345 and 380 upper right ? Also does 3345 represent the transition ID not partial VIN number ?

While your engine may have been assembled on Jan. 16 (V0116HZ), the transmission assembly date (380) has nothing to do with that.
The 3345 is the transmissions serial #, as in the 3,345th transmission built that year. It has nothing to do with your cars VIN.
If the transmission was original to your car, a partial VIN should be stamped here I believe.
If there isn't a partial VIN, then the transmission may be an over the counter replacement or there may be a partial VIN of a different car that the transmission was originally installed in.

.. for showing me where to look for the transmission case's Serial # stamp. It confirmed it's the original TH400 that St. Louis dropped into my '73, as the last six digits in that lower red box area matched the VIN's last six.
