Default Body mount nightmare on my 1974

I am a new member that is in the middle of discovering just how bad my body mounts are and I am having to determine how much repair I need to perform to make it as good as new. I am building my bucket list bad *** 1974 Pro-Mod. I started removing my body mounts today and I am
not happy with what I found. Both of my #4 bird cages are destroyed and I am going to have to perform fiberglass repair to mount new bird cages and put new nut brackets back in place in the fiberglass upper area.

Good luck with the repairs to your car and welcome to the forum.

As mentioned, the C3 sections of the forum will be very useful to you as you progress through the repair.

Default Well It's Done

It has been a long road but I have finished a two-month frame off restoration, to include having the frame and many other parts blasted and powder coated. This is the first load of photos to show the bird cage repair.

I really must say I admirer your work and this winter I will try lift my body of the frame on my 74 also. But I am also afriad what I will find.
Maybe a silly question but do I need to take out the front screen when lifting of the body? The reason I ask is the screen is a tinted special and according to my friends taking it out will most certainly crack it and to find a new will be very hard and expensive.
