I decided to treat myself to a new detached garage. Took me two years to complete (working on weekends and using vacation days). During HS and college, I worked as a framer on a pole barn crew, so I decided to dust off my tool belt. My friend, a builder also helped me out......my wife was not up for helping me set the LVL beams on the posts.

The L-88 hood and air box came from Ecklers, and the carb base is a custom spun aluminum piece.

24x30 2.5 car. LPG heat. New floor this past spring.

14x22 "storage shed". Keep the "off season" toys in there. No heat or power.

I decided to move my tools and benches back in that garage and not paint the walls and ceiling. My wife just told me that now it the time to do it and don't be lazy.

She's right, I was being lazy. While it's empty I'm going to finish it and I'll be much happier down the road.

Drylok here I come!

I like some of the red accents in the pictures. I may put some sort of red stripe or something to compliment my craftsman cabinets and benches.

I did the same thing with my compressor because I can't stand the noise. This picture gives some scale to the shop, the boom on the tractor is 12' tall, and the 67 and 68 Camaros
The 67 progressing
67 engine ready
In the car
My compressor shed is just a scrap of roof metal Lol
