It's 28 x 30. the only mistake was not putting heat in the floor. I have base board and A/C . Even with full insulation and sheetrock the floor gets cold and feels cold in the winter.
I helped a friend put in the PECKS (plastic tubing for hot water) in his floor before the concrete pour - it just warms the concrete and is a godsend in the winter. We spaced it 24" so it is not meant to heat the shop but it is nice to have a warm floor. He has baseboard also which does the heating.

What state are you in, how bad are the winters there?

Just took these a few days ago after cleaning up the garage for the coming winter months. My garage is a 20x40. I put the Vette and the boat in the back row for the winter, then the wife's car and my truck go in the front. Just posted this to see if I can do pictures. I'm not as good with the computer as I am with mechanical stuff.

I actually have more garage square footage then house. I added a second bay about 8 years ago and this year my town changed the zoning and easement restrictions so I jumped on it and added bays 3 & 4 with a second driveway. All other houses in our neighborhood have 1 or 2 bays. Having 4 bays is great but I will be adding a lift down the road. I am always outside so house space doesnt mean anything to me. Project was finished about 2 weeks ago just in time for winter storage, NICE!!!

This is all the room I have for 4 vettes. Three go into Winter storage and my wife gets one garage space for the grocery getter.

Photo-shopped this as a joke when my woodworking stuff went to the shed in preparation for the new baby. We were calling the garage a 'nursery' for a while.
