Keep it up stingraymaniac. Your particular stroker is a curious one. Breaking the tires loose kinda tells it... *****.
I am weeks from ordering my own 396 sb (I hope!). But many months away from a runner.
Run it but love it too.

Your Vette is looking great! For having good weather there, the air quality doesn't look too good. It looks pretty smokey behind the car in the second photo.

Good to see you round maniac. My car has since finished and I am running the same Blueprint 396 stroker as you. I did go Holley Sniper FI with it, which I think is a big plus.
Nice on the ever improving with your car. I'm sure it rocks.

New vinter with 35 inches of snow outside, time for some more mods..
always had a horrible wheelhop and now i have taken the whole back end apart, gonna change the old rubber bushings in the trailingarms to joint bearings, so alittle welding is required
bought the bearings with weldable housings, they fit great into the hole when you take out all the old rubber and stuff, great for welding

i also welded inside the arm on the end as much i could then alittle cleanup

i also welded the arms along the side, the 70s welds was well spectacular to say the least, should be stronger now, gonna paint them next

Nice, never could weld well! Love the color too.
Anyone compared a 396 bb with the sbc version? Opinions?

That would be a good comparison. I think a stock-ish 396BB would get out paced by the well built BP 396sb, but a nice built up 396bb will be a good performer!
They would need to be compared in like vehicles for a great shootout IMO.
