You know its a sad fact enough rust could make them worth 500.00 each or less,
5k might buy a better start than both these cars could make you, i simply do not have enough info.

x2 make sure the "good" one doesnt have rust issues first. Could be a fair deal or the most expensive pair of 75s ever lol.

If it sounds too good to be true....
I have seen how dismal one Corvette selling for $5k can look like. I can't imagine how bad the 2 for $5k ones must be.

My first thought was about RUST as well. I would not want to see you lose money just because it sounds like a great deal at the start.
Need more info and pictures if possible.

Hi D,
This doesn't sound like a good deal.
Let's think one of the cars is worth $3500 and the other is worth $1500.
There are probably $500 worth of parts on the cheap car that can be used to improve the the expensive car.
So you've spent $1500 for $500 worth of parts, plus you now have the remains of a car you need to get rid of.
AND, you're quickly at the point of having spent $5000 for a car that's already worth only $4000.
This sounds like it's a good deal for this seller but not you…. you've paid him $1500 for a car he can't get rid of.
If they could be made into one good car wouldn't he do that?
Regards,
Alan
