Ditch that antique carburetor and bring your C3 Corvette into the modern age with a ready-to-run EFI setup from the fueling experts at FiTech.

Sorry, but if I wanted a car with computers, I would have bought a new C7.

"With prices STARTING at $800".
Then you have to spend money on fuel delivery and return. Return is a biggie for me as my LT-1 does not have a return line to the tank.

FiTech
I did this to my 75, , I'll try to help anyone through the installation, mine went well, turn key and go! I have posted some of my pics on this forum, also, other brands that work well too.

Not the same brand, but I put an Atomic TBI on an Off Topic car (1931 Model A Ford W/ a cammed up V8 ).
I chose Atomic as it didn't need a return line.
I've been running it as long as they've been available, it makes more power than any of the carbs I've had on it (Atomic has a 900 + CFM Throttle Body) and picked up 2-3 MPG, throatier sound too (both out the intake and the exhaust).
I haven't tried FI Tech on anything, yet, but have had good luck in the past with Atomic, FAST, and SDS.
While I haven't put an Edelbrock on, a friend did, I was unable to give him any help with it (he took it back off).
Of the ones I've tried, the Atomic was the easiest to install.
I look forward to trying FI Tech, but don't have an induction vacancy at the moment.

What did you use as fuel lines and return ? I have the same on a shelf ready to put on my '75 but from what I read I will have to pull a new fuel 3/8 return line.
I have an aeromotive in tank fuel pump that I will put in my tank.

I have $1.200.00 invested in conversion,, i used Earls vapor guard fuel line and AN fittings,, Walbro in tank pump, Holley Hydra mat was my most costly part of fuel system, but no need to baffle fuel tank to prevent fuel starvation, I used original supply line as my new return line,,,

I put the Fitech EFI on my wife's '71 and is running great now, but had some issues getting it going, because the initial settings didn't let it start. I got so frustrated that I got kicked off the Fitech Facebook tech page, but through trial and error, did finally get it running well.

Not being picky here but did you check to see if you are getting WOT. The travel from what it looks like in your picture is very short and would not give you WOT. I just installed one of these on a forum members 69 and could not get full travel no matter what I tried. I finally got the Lokar throttle cable and was able to get full travel. You could be losing power!!
Pull the air cleaner and while the car is off just have your wife step on the pedal all the way. Peer into the throttle body and make sure the plates are totally vertical.

I've been extremely happy with my Fitech, runs very well and goes hard, returns better economy than I ever achieved with the stock carb, despite changing out the stock engine for a pretty healthy 383 at the same time. The most impressive thing is how nice it runs and pulls at low revs and/or low load, given it's on an engine with enough cam to pull past 7,000rpm.

Yes, I verified once already that the throttle body is what's stopping the pedal motion, and not the linkage. Thanks anyway.

They say to put the 02 sensor in the rear tube away from a corner, so I put hers on the top rear center of straight portion of header. Just make sure there's enough clearance by turning the wheel.

For whatever it's worth, to get a sensor in, on another forum I'm on a fellah put his sensor in by the cylinder head, on a set of zoomies he'd built.
They had a glass pack style insert in each pipe, and were screwed to a supercharged classic hemi with a FAST TBI system.
It worked for him, not ideal but once you've gone that far from a "normal" setup you do what you can.
Being new here, I'm not sure what the etiquette is on posting a link to another site (if anyone wants the thread location for now, PM me).

Just out of curiosity were you able to get the O2 sensor in that position with the sensor end pointed down or horizontal?
