Default '81 LS swap, Exhaust Options?

Soooo... I'm going from "gungho for sidepipes" to "**** I just want stainless exhaust"...

Doing an LS swap in my '81 and I'm scouring the internet for stainless exhaust options and coming up short. Anyone got any links?

I always wanted a system from Stainless Works.

A bit pricey and you would have to adapt the pipes to your headers.

Food for thought.

I also have American Racing Headers on an Ls3 on my 73. Was thinking of going with Magna Flow stainless big block system, cross member back. Not quite as pricey as the Stainless Works system.

There are a few manufacturers out there for ls sidepipe headers. Somewhat reasonable price if yiu consider buying a ss set for sbc or bbc and paying someone to rework the flanges for the ls.

Looks good. How much did it set you back? And what came of the sensor issue?

I talked to the makers and they said the sensors will read with out issues. I have not tuned them yet but the engine runs fine. My tuner will come buy after I get back from Europe at the end of the Oct. I will have a month home in Texas to do some work on it.

The price??? Way to much... somewhere around 3K

Mine were about 1800. Headers only though, I already had side pipes and vettepack inserts from the obx sbc setup.

Maybe someone else can come in about regular ss header options.
