got another 73 and yes it purple heres a teaser pics or two. drove 3hrs home on saturday and managed to loose antenna and driver side exhaust bezel. no rust solid was orginally l48 auto yellow with brown interior but has green seats. needs work on interior but other then that a nice car. first thing i did when i got home was take out ac and re route fuel lines. had over 4k in work in 2015 mechanical wise and drives like a dream. Will be doing more as the weeks go by, it has a great foundation to work with.
Thanks it was a good day fun trip overall, going to be get a game plan this weekend on exactly what i will be doing to it in future. has ceramic long tube headers and stock mufflers going to take some measurements before i order mufflers thinking something different. the rims are carusi line have a nice deep dish look to them, but looks like they will limit what size tire i can use . itstead of blacked out like my orange 73 that i drive every weekend thinking chrome and white it will be. orange 73 will be out for a while for cutting front springs next week and found a 4.11 rear end for it.
creeping on ebay and forum last few weeks and most the parts are here for purple. good birthday present tomorrow will be going to put new dynomax mufflers on in morning then taking out seats, door panels and e brack console after my visit to exhaust shop. ended up stealing parts that were suppose to be going on tomorrow and putting them on my other one go figure.
had a gas leak in the rear today when i got to muffler shop so replaced that no exhaust though. did the interior turned out nice comfort weave seats alot better then the green seats. only 2 problems i ran into seats the tracks dont line up for 1 bolt on each side and couldnt get bootom of door handle to screw in. i figured i was gambling on using 70 convertible parts but besides that it turned out nice. learn something new for next time 💪
