I have seen a tilt clip like that with the avenger gt kit car style headlights a time or two,

Both ecklers and motion offered bucket headlights but not like this,

i believe i have seen your very car in the past,

I am guessing some parts house at the very least sold the headlights, your car has a 68 to 72 bb lt1 style scoop but is long hood, so that front clip has lots of mods done to it,

If its not your cup o tea just so happens i have a stock 68 69 front clip offered on here and craigslist as a swap for a tilt front clip,

I had lots of the vette issues of car craft, i dont recall it but that doesnt mean much,

Closer looking it appears the clip is made from a stock clip and hood....very cool, moght be one off....

I have all of the 1970 catalogs that were out back in the day! Let me see if I can dig those out and see if this was sold as Is!

Also I don't remember a car as a feature that looked like it, but I vaguely remember seeing a dual headlight car with hood cut out somewhere in like a Modified Corvette picture article!

Bats, I showed you one like that a few years ago from a CL listing. This looks like the OP's I believe. I kinda like it.

Post 16. Now I wish I bought it back then.

Best of luck with the car OP.

I was thinking about that one and have pictures of it from the front, its a little different to the ops, the ops looks better head on,

As you can imagine i have 10s of 1000s of pictures of vettes, and tons ive yet to scan with over 40 years collecting pics
im leaning to one off on this one,
But i might have old pics of this one from the day,

You can tell the hood is glassed in and perhaps the headlight buckets were sold by some of the more obscure parts houses,

It does look as if someone molded in a stock front with the hood. I think it's badass. I love one of a kind stuff. The car is definately a keeper.

Ok I checked most of the old Catalogs from back in the day (Ecklers, JD, ACI, Legendary, Motion, and lessor known catalogs from other outfits and could not find that front end, I think it is custom also!

The underside would tell us a good deal.

I'm thinking it was assembled from stock pieces. You can almost see where the original hood was glassed onto the fenders.

Edit: And that's what I get for not refreshing. It's kinda odd, looks like everything was one piece except the hood was glassed in. Interesting...
