1971 Ancillary Fiberglass Panel Reattachment
Replaced 3/4 of my birdcage and will be reinstalling hinge pillar cover, door sill and lock pillar fiberglass covers.
Assembly manual indicates a plastisol adhesive to be applied before re-riveting and application of bonding agent at bonding locations called out in assembly manual.
Can anyone recommend anything other than silicone to be used for this application?
Concerned with possible future squeaking.

Hi JJL,
I believe something very similar to Plastisol seam sealer is still available.
Try:
3M(TM) Ultrapro(TM) Urethane Seam Sealer, p/n 08360
I believe it comes in several colors.
