Default Adjusting the Convertible front alignment pin on a 68

Is it possible to adjust the placement of the front alignment pin on the convertible top of an EARLY 68.
I am not sure if the issue is the placement of the alignment pin on the top itself or the position of the alignment bracket on the top of the windshield. Neither the Pin nor the bracket (I am not positive of its proper name striker plate maybe?) have any means of adjustment. The pins need to be about 1/8th inch further apart (or the brackets need to be 1/8th inch closer together.

I know that Chevy changed this bracket part in late 68 to the same fashion that was used from 69 through 76.

Thanks.

Dan

If memory serves, the folding top front bow latches can be shimmed as needed, in or out. Check to see if your outer latches are shimmed.

Thank you all for the replies.

The pins on my top seem to not only have 2 screws but also have an epoxy, does that seem correct?
Do you know how much "adjustment " the pins can make? I only need a small amount.

Offhand, no. There should be no epoxy. How about posting a pic of what you have run up against?

Thanks for your replies.

Here are a couple of pictures. I hope they show they give you an idea of what I am referring to. The base of the pin seems to be seamless with the top.
