Looking Fine at 50
My 1968 Corvette Bronze/Tobacco coupe is a few months from being 50 years old (actually on January 16th). I purchased it from the original owner in May 1970. He was a doctor and used it as his primary car. It was my daily transportation until 1978 and then weekend use until 1981 when the brakes were "shot". It sat in the garage until 1991 when I got it back on the road. It was repainted in 1997 and has also been treated to new carpets and leather seats, plus some chrome additions under the hood. Took some pictures today and I think it stills looks good after 115,00 miles.

That’s really a very nice 68 coupe. My 68 BB convertible was originally Corvette Bronze and it will be again after a repaint. I hope it looks as nice as yours. Mine is a January 3rd build. I bet our vin numbers can’t be very far apart.

Very nice ride. Love that interior!
Still the best looking car ever designed, in my prefessional super biased opinion.

Hi T,
What a nice looking car!!!
It has such a wonderful 'well tended' look about it.
The Corvette Bronze certainly is a beautiful color.
I hope the car has given you lots of pleasure over all those years!
You must be proud to have it!
Regards,
Alan

A car that looks that good and owned that long deserves 100 Posts/pics per year.

Very nicely maintained over the years I must say.
Thank you for sharing.
It is a blessing you have been able to keep the little lady since 70.
My 70's muscle car got sold before I left for the Marines.
My 68 BB turns 50 next June.
They are iconic cars.
Way ahead of their era.
Get out and drive some more.

I like the fuel filter. Easy access. Cool location - literally. Is that your design or original to the car?
