I like how your 'vettes body sits relative to the tires, no large gap in the wheel well. Did you lower the body to achieve this look?

Yes, the car has been lowered significantly to achieve that look.

Autostrada Forum has been rebuilding it's website for awhile now, I didn't even know it was back up! Thanks! Yup, that's my ugly mug at various stages in my life!!!

A very nice build. I love how you incorporated some new and custom looks without overwhelming the classic persona of the car. Did you have everything planned out in your head prior to starting your rebuild, or was it a progressive thing throughout the entirety of the build?

Thanks!

It was/still is a progressive thing, and honestly I don't know if it ever will be done!! More changes are on the way over this winter. I'm a fan of subtlety vs "in your face" obviousness. The longer and closer you look at my car, the more changes and modifications you will notice.

What a difference a lot of time, work, and money can make!!

In this set of before/after pics, the top pics were taken the day I brought the car home: August 4,1995. The bottom pics were taken the day of the photo shoot: July 25, 2017.

Love the before and after pics! You were right, the more I look at it, the more tweaks I see, and the more I like your work. It blows my truck resto-mod out of the water, and I can only hope to get a Corvette to the stage you have gotten it.

Congrats ! Glad to see that the magazine gave you the recognition that you deserve. I know that a lot of hard work and money went into the car. It looks fantastic.

Congrats on the article! Always liked your car. Looks even better in person than the pictures!

Maybe some day I'll get around to sprucing mine up a little; oh who am I kidding.

Hey, I've met a celebrity even if only briefly.

Bruce, your Vette is absolutely gorgeous - top shelf. Worthy of being on the cover of the magazine.
