Speaking of wasting energy, the last thing I’d do is try to reason with a millenial with facts.

They don’t care what you have to say, don’t listen, do not process any logic that doesn’t agree with their alt left agenda and will not be impressed by whatever snappy response you come up with.

My response would convey enough unpleasantness for him to tuck his man bun under his hipster hat and scram.

Besides, I wouldn’t be caught dead in a Starbucks.

As far as the climate change BS- who can say that we are not in the middle of a 1000 year cycle where the planet gets warmer and then cools down? And I'll guarantee that anyone that believes in global warming has never worked on an airport ramp in Michigan in January.
Do you buy your fuel at the airport? If not, where, please.

Yes, you represent a clear and present danger. Ride a bicycle.

When I fire up that prehistoric V8 cute little birds drop from the skies. Not all the kiddies have it wrong. A young girl recently gave the car the long hard stare and she just wanted to know what the hell it was because she had never seen one. ??! I suppose so. A teenager approached me getting gas to compliment the car and we talked about the nice new Camaro he was driving. They're not all nitwits - except for the unfortunate fashion statement of having nuts, bolts and fishing tackle pierced through their faces, noses and who knows what else.

Seriously? All millenials believe/act exactly the same way?
I can't agree with labeling/placing any group as all inclusive..fortunately we are all individuals, regardless of age/generation.

I remember hearing/reading something years ago about if we just emptied all the air in all the tires on the planet at the same time we would have enough fresh air to last about a hundred years! Maybe if we did that and the millennials changed the air in their heads we could get two hundred!!

I wasn’t talking about all millennials. I was talking about the millennials that find it necessary to take the initiative to criticize my car in a public place.

I have other labels for members of other generations who would act the same way.

I was born in 1992, which I guess technically makes me a millennial.
I hate being lumped into this group, so much......many of them can be airheads , which you could attribute to them not being taught to think critically or independently while in school.

While I believe that we must be responsible for the world around us, I don't put much stock into the whole warming idea. The most vocal people are also becoming the richest off these policies, and it seems as though their only answer to "solving" warming to through US/Global government intervention. NO THANKS. I'll just be over here in my little corner of the world with my two old cars.

Airport is 100 octane low lead. There's a dirt track not too far from me, and one of the guys that runs there has a muffler shop. He sells about 4 different grades of gas and methanol. The last time I went to the local airport for 100LL, it was $6.50/gallon. The 110 from the muffler shop was $8.50.

No, I am only criticizing the ones that are wrong. The other ones are okay.

OK you take all the blame from '92 - present. I'm a baby boomer so I'l take it from 195X all the way up to 1992, just to make sure I shoulder more than my fair share. The world is an unflushed bogel, we are to blame.

All that out of the way...these old cars ...cool or what? Absolutely. Going to run mine until they take it away from me......

Sweet! I am a Gen-X'er and apparently I get a pass! Incidentally your 'take it away from me' comment reminded me of this...

Here is the way I see it. In the 1930's thru the 1960's we had millions of cars on the roads, thousands of plants and factories through out the world, a few wars and many other "pollutants" (by today's standards) that spewed millions, maybe trillions of tons of smoke, carbon monoxide and other "ozone depleting" materials into the air. When you look back there were no rising temperatures or polar cap melting. The whole idea of global warming is a crock.

A brand new, V-8 Suburban, driving from one coast to the other, will emit less hydrocarbons and particulates into the atmosphere, than one evening's open campfire!

It drives me crazy when one generation bashes another wholesale. I can guarantee all the old guys here were once young punks that the older generation thought wouldn't amount to much...

We probably knew they were right and did what we wanted to anyway. Rebels without a cause.
