Hi m,
The cars produced from 68-82 are very different from each other.
You might want to indicate the year of the car you're considering so that a person with the experience he'll need to take a knowledgable look at the car can offer his services.

If it's a 70-72 car you might contact Don (redrdstr72). I believe he lives in that area and is certainly knowledgable about those years.

I would love to do something like that, but I personally have bad decisions skills when it comes to Corvettes. I sadly see them as to what they can be and not the reality of what they actually are. Am I the only one with this disease?

I want to thank those who replied. The Vette is a 1971 BB with many options. As I live in IL. I was wondering if anyone on the Forum was close and did not want anyone to drive a long distance; just wanted an unbiased opinion.
